Police Commissioner Cressida Dick Talks About Xtinction Rebellion & Prince Andrew Allegations.

Dame Cressida Rose Dick CBE QPM (born 16 October 1960) is a senior British Police Officer serving as Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service since 2017. Dick is both the first female and first openly homosexual officer to lead the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS or the Met) in London.

Dick joined the Met in 1983, rising in the ranks over time. From 1995 to 2000, she was a high-ranking officer in the Thames Valley Police. After earning a master's degree in criminology, she returned to the Met in 2001, and subsequently held senior roles in the force's diversity directorate, in anti-gang and anti-gun crime operations, and in counterterrorism operations. In June 2009, she was promoted to the rank of assistant commissioner, the first woman to hold this rank substantively.

The head of the Metropolitan Police has said “no one is above the law” when asked about sexual assault allegations made against Prince Andrew.

Dame Cressida Dick said the force had not opened an investigation into the Duke of York but a review is taking place.
