Eddie Capone Talks 'The Eight Winds' With FreshFM

Rudi Page from FreshFM Radio London interviews 3G Treatment record label artist Eddie Capone. His upcoming release 'The Eight Winds' becomes the conversation topic with Rudi as part of Reggae Global and Culture Online 2021.

The new track is to be released 24th September 2021 and sets the foundation for 3G Treatments second collective album to be released next year!

Faith and humanity has always been important in Eddie's lyrical messages and we are delighted to be able to hear about the thought process in creating his latest production. 'The Eight Winds' was created during Eddie's time of suffering with Covid and is a track about not being blown away by temperamental happiness

One of Eddie's main musical influences is Professor Herbie Hancock who had a great impact on Eddie's lifestyle and career; as his mentorship through music with Herbie introduced Eddie to Buddhism. Since he has used this new outlook on life to try and make positive active changes in the community and the relationships people in a community have with one another.

One of his first projects involving community affairs was in 1981, holding the first benefit concert for the New Cross Fire. He still continues this work today with the prospect of building a legacy for the victims by establishing the New Cross Arts and Culture Centre.
